Alaska Moose

Moose are one of the most fun animals to chase. The hunts are in the Southern Brooks range of Alaska. We utilize super cub airplanes to access remote parts of the area. Moose season begins September 5th and is a 10 day hunt.  All hunts are 1-1 with a packer to help with the work. Moose hunts are not the most strenuous hunts,  but can be difficult because of the terrain. Calling is a very effective way to hunt moose, but it takes patience and time. The area produces bulls that range from 55-65″ and bulls close to 70″ have been killed.

Travel is pretty easy because you fly into Fairbanks, AK and then fly to Coldfoot on Wrights Air. From there you are flown into the field. If your plans are to take all of the meat home with you, it is best to rent a vehicle and make the 6 hour drive to Coldfoot from Fairbanks. Your trophy will be taken back to Wasilla and from their Wildlife galleries will take it and expedites it to the lower 48 for you.
